My role as a counselor is to provide an environment of safety, trust and mutual respect with the individuals that I work with.  I work with adults, adolescents, couples, families and groups. I believe that counseling can assist the individual to develop an awareness of their personal strengths, clarify problems and arrive at solutions to deal with life situations.  I use an integrative or eclectic approach to counseling which means that I borrow different ideas from numerous theories that are tailored to the individual seeking help.    I am a member of and adhere to the Code of Ethics of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
